Phoenix Physiotherapy Clinic was the first private physiotherapy clinic to open in Prince George. It was founded by Terry Fedorkiw and Lynda Menard in 1976. In 2006, it was purchased by Wendy Marchlewitz, a physiotherapist who had joined the clinic in 1998.

Wendy Marchlewitz

Registered Physical Therapist

Wendy completed her Physiotherapy Honours Degree in Manchester, England in 1998. After completing her dissertation on electrotherapy she pursued many manual therapy courses as well as completing all the McKenzie levels. Wendy Considers herself a “hands-on” physiotherapist and enjoys taking students to highlight the advantages of employing these types of techniques.

An adjunct professor with UBC, she teaches various labs at UNBC for the Masters of Physiotherapy Programme in the North for both first and second year students.

In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her twins, and playing golf.

Nicole Runcie

Registered Physical Therapist

Nicole has been passionate about healing and physiotherapy approaches since she was young and managing her own injuries and chronic pain conditions. She began her career as a Kinesiologist and Clinical Pilates instructor. She has been teaching exercise technique and pilates for 20 years. As a Physiotherapist Nicole is drawn to manual therapy and fascial techniques. She has advanced training in Graston technique which is described on the website. She is trained in K taping technique. Her newest courses have been in osteopathic techniques both cranial sacral therapy and visceral manipulation therapy which also can be referred to on teh website. Her interest in practice is to bring the most advanced and modern techniques to her patients and inspire them to live a pain free life.
Jashanpreet Kaur

Jashan started as an international student and completed her diploma in Kinesiology. She currently works with patients to help with balance retraining and rehabilitation exercise. She is interested in learning advanced skills in biofeedback and postural curing. She can speak Punjabi, Hindi, and English fluently and is currently learning French.

Other than physio, she lover painting, craftworks, and cooking. Sometimes she even surprises the staff with her creations!

Victoria Law

Howdy from Victoria Law. She is a kinesiology diploma graduate who enjoys working with patients to recover from injury. Her passion for physical health and sports has spurred her interest in biofeedback, sports medicine and taping. 

Outside of work, you can find her camping, at rodeos, working out or with her horses.

Dream: To work as a physical therapist for rodeos all across Canada and the United States!
