Functional Assessments & Return to Work Programs
Functional assessments are a joint effort between the kinesiologist and physical therapist to measure a worker’s current physical abilities (post-injury) and compare them to their previous (pre-injury) job demands and daily tasks. Functional assessments are performed when the injury is not part of an approved WorkSafeBC claim, but still prevents you from working.
